Bokpost provide the best the Karoo can offer in style, cuisine and panorama. The farm is ideally located in the vicinity of the Orange River in the heart of South Africa.
We cater for 14 guests in spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, overlooking the game camp, swimming pool and tranquil bird sanctuary. There is a library with more than a thousand books, a bar, various living areas and places in the garden to reminisce and also a playground for the children. A Jacuzzi and heated pool is also available
Bokpost is situated in the heart of South Africa, in a malaria free and safe area. Situated in the greater Colesberg area nearly halfway between Johannesburg and Cape Town, just 23 km's from the N1 road and 20 km from the town of Philippolis. The farm lies nested among the picturesque ridges of the Orange River, approximately 180 km south of Bloemfontein.
The farm is easily accessible. The roads leading to the farm are tarred (N1 or the 717) with the last approximately 20 km of the journey being a dirt road in typical South African condition. There is also a tarred airstrip just 28 km from the farm. The farm consists of 10 000 ha of Savannah/Karoo pasture. Sheep farming is the main economic activity on the farm but game roam in three camps of more than 2 000 ha on the farm.
